Hello everyone, just to clarify the rehearsal slots for this June holidays...
30th May, 31st May, 2nd June 9.00am - 12.00pm
19th June, 21st June, 23rd June 9.00am - 12.00pm
Venue for all practices should be the Music Room. If you get there and we are not there, I'll have a notice put on the door to tell you the new location.
Please msg all the choir people you know so you can keep them informed. Reminding each other helps to ensure attendance, and we all know that practices with more people are more productive when most of the members are there. Wake up calls are also a good idea...

Post-Exam Update
Dear all,
This is a follow-up to the exco meeting and a general update for all. The post-exam schedule for the school has been rather fluid, but I've finally managed to settle details of our plans as of Thursday evening after clearing it with higher authority.
Please take this post as the confirmed plan. Will go into detail with the committee members at our next exco meeting which will be this tuesday 2pm at hougang mall.
The 17th is NOT marking day. We are not having anything on on that day.
Instead, we will be having a full-day's programme on the 19th. This is the basic outline of the plan for that day, which will include our NEW members from auditions in late March.
8.00am: Brief and Q&A to new members (Ms. Koh) 8.30am : Icebreaker activities (managed by EXCO) 9.30am : Choir Practice + Re-auditioning for sectional placement(Mr Goh) 11.00am : End of session
Choir members to return to class from 11.00am to end of day.
There will still be choir practice on Friday from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. This is not compulsory for the new members who will be 'enrolled' on Friday itself, but is compulsory for all existing members. Everyone is responsible to make everyone else be there.
Other things that will be done on Friday: - Release of holiday rehearsal schedule - Update on upcoming plans - Dissemination of scores to new members (Mdm Ng & Andrew i/c) - Capture of member's particulars (Dhashini) - Collection of choir funds and update of budget (Shawn)
We wish the new team all the best in leading the Voices in the Garden to new heights. May we soar high and hit notes so high that only dogs can hear them! :)
