hello choir!
Congrates to the new committee!(: must try your best to do a great job and bring the choir further.I'm very sure that you all have the ability to do that.Yes..choir is Cca that needs a lot of teamwork and cooperation as well as being attentive. You all have been practicising 2 days weekly just to be prepared and put up a good 5 mins concert that everyone woud clap for.The audience would definitely enjoy the song you all are singing when u are enjoying it! Always remember the Key to singing is to SMILE no matter what happens.
There are times when you failed to do something to the standard that you expect.but the most important thing is that you enjoy the time when ypu prepare for it and of course learning new things on the way.."If u fail to do something, Stand up firmly and try again!" Failing is the key to success.
Last but not least..even though we have step down..u all still can approach us if there is anything.

Farewell
We have gone through so much as a Choir and still remain firm even though our size is small.After so many practice,we accomplished many things and learn to improve ourselves through our Co-Curricular Activity(CCA) such as skills that requires leadership,team work and perseverance.Without these skill we would not be standing here.Although we never really spent a whole one year with the new members, to me and Wen Jing and the rest of the old committee it felt that this opportunity was given to us that made us believed that this Choir could still go on. When all of you watched us during your Secondary 1 Orientation, you saw the number of our Choir back then.
We believe in all of you and would keep believing forever that this Choir stands and with those three skills,you would all go very far.Always remember to do your best in Choir and do your homework.Also remember to smile,yawn,breathe properly and remember your first note.Also your scores,pencil and water bottle every practice.Last but not least,concentrate!
You might not realize it but when its your turn to step down, you would look back and wonder why the time went too fast.My advice to you is that you should cherish the things that you enjoy before you regret it once it is all over.
Though our days are over being your leader,we would still be watching over you and helping if you need any assistance.And to the new committee, I and Wen Jing wishes you all the best with the Choir and do your best in your position as a committee.Though you are still new, it's okay to make mistake as we are all learning and that is what we came for to do.Our life is a learning journey and we always take small steps to obtain an achievement through persevering and supporting one another.
And finally,I and Wen Jing congratulate the new committee!

Updates
There will be practice this coming Thursday 28/5/09.The timing would remain the same boys 3pm and girls 3.45pm.
Holiday practice would be up as soon as possible and the current day would be the 2nd week of the June holiday on Tuesday and Thursday.Though this is not the final confirmation by the committees and the teacher-in-charge.Take note that there will be choir practice during the holiday.
Also,this coming Thursday 28/5/09,all choir members are expected to come even those that had stepped down as the new committee would be taking up their position and the current one would be stepping down on that day.The new committee would be reveal on that day itself so don't go and ask who it would be from the current committee or the teacher-in-charge.

Bishan Park Concert
Hey Bishan Park Choir is having a joint concert with Beatty and Dunearn Secondary,if any of you are interested you can get the ticket for $12 through Mr Benedict Goh.It will be on 28 May,7.30pm at Victoria Concert Hall.Also don't forget to inform your parents if you are going as there will not be any letters given by the Teacher-In-Charge as it is a public concert.
And last but not least good luck for your examinations,study hard and do well.
