Vocal Cords in Action

If you want to view a video of vocal cords in action, click here.

Thank you to all choir members for a productive rehearsal at Victoria Concert Hall yepesterday. With less than a month to SYF, each and every member must do the best he/she can to secure success for the choir. Every individual matters!

Things you can do:
1. Organize your own sectional meetings
2. Go through your music on your own for at least 20-30 minutes a day
3. Do your vocal exercises to train for stamina
4. Practice standing in your concert shoes to get used to them.
5. Drink lots of water and rest well. Get at least 8 hours of sleep. This will help prevent you from falling ill. You need to look after yourself because sick people cannot sing well.
6. Eat less spicy and 'heaty' foods.
7. Do not shout and scream - protect your instrument.
8. Get to know your choir members better.

If we all do our part, we will succeed and be the pride of the school :-)
